The emotion love , beautiful as it is
Takes one to a plane that is sheer bliss
Looking at life with a new set of eyes
Where new outlook, new possibility lies.
A euphoria in me that makes me high,
Lightens me up & makes me fly.
The hidden glances sent my way
Sometimes just seems to make my day
The world looks so much brighter
For love makes my heart lighter.
Thoughts of you make me smile
Radiating warmth along a mile
When love transcends beyond
Positive thoughts it seems to send
Why then we have the hardened cynic
Whose belief in life n love is arsenic
They dispute those in love & its beauty
Putting forward the tenets of duty.
They guard their hearts in cages of anger
Shutting it away afraid of letting it wander
Lonely & disillusioned, that heart refuses to see
What love shows , how it is when its free
The refusal & fear to let it fly high
Reaching limits beyond the sky.
Giving & sharing becomes a distant thought
For alone that heart withers & grows not
To me love is the only emotion that teaches
Touching lives & going beyond ordinary reaches.
Isnt it love that makes the world go around
A more beautiful feeling is yet to be found!!!
