Its been quite a journey
We have walked quite a way
Weaving our way through destiny
Sometimes not quite having a say.
Sometimes climbing up the hills
That suddenly sprung along the way
Mopping up some of the spills
Our tears made on gloomy days.
Hand in hand we walked ,side by side
On a journey so worth the while
Life has not been all smooth a ride
But we have travelled many a mile.
Sometimes walking ahead of me
While I struggled to catch up with you
You waited at times to stop and see
If I still could stride along with you.
Where we head and what is in store
I just sometimes sit and wonder
Life twists n turns as the tears pour
Is it worth its value I ponder.
Surely time waits for none so you learn
As one day one leaves the earth and is gone
Living life with its twists ,tumbles and turns
The other left alone as the day they were born .
