The words you uttered the other day,
Took me somewhere quite far away.
Showing me beautiful hues of colors around,
Making melodies out of each & every sound.
The warmth, the care, the love that you sent my way
Reeked from every little gesture, every word you say.
I was taken to a world so wonderful ,oh so new
When at long last I saw I found love in you.
Each moment I have with you is meant to be,
Often I yearn to feel your arms around me.
Wont you come n say ‘I make you mine’
For what we share my love, is truly divine.
A blessing that’s what you are in my life
I long for you to call me your wife.
But fate n destiny , the tricks they play
Brought you in my life too late in the day
I still have no cribs & complaints are few,
For God gave me a chance to get to know you.
For its better to have had at love a chance,
To know & cherish what lies beneath that glance.
You gave my life some worth, some meaning
You taught me each second is meant for living.
You taught me to stand up for what I believed in..
Isn’t that what Love is, its true meaning?
