A tear drop rolled down my eye
A breath that ended on a sigh
A pain that clipped my wings
A heart that just refused to sing
Clouds that made my day so bleak
A peace that I so desperately seek.
Toss and turn I do in my sleep
The desolation in my life creeps
Each step becoming a real fight
My reflection a real bleak sight.
Dreams meant to crumble n shatter
My thoughts ,they no longer matter.
Would I ever find that guiding light
Before I totally give up the fight?
The arms that would keep me warm
One that could protect me from harm…
In Gods arm at last I seem to find
That light that keeps me from going blind.

I thought we were friends
But you became a stranger
A relationship that never ends
You risked it for life’s wager
The subtle ways you moved
Killed my spirits day by day
Till you had me all removed

An explanation or a word
I was denied of even that respect

What from you I never did expect.

As I look through the window
The ray of sunshine hitting my face
The night before just a shadow
Filling the new day with grace.
My mind filled with wonder
As I take in the beauty around
I feel I should just surrender
To the breathtaking morning I found.
A new beginning, a new day
Something to look forward to
And look at life in a new way
As if I was looking for a cue.
The fresh grass that the dew adorned
Fresh flowers a treat to my eyes
Nature that the sun crowned
Making me breathe long sighs.
I look around all the same
All set to make memories a few
To complete this beautiful frame

Watching the waves crash into the beach
I realised how far out of my reach
You are, Like a glittering, shining star
So close to my eyes and yet so far .
My heart as it brims and overflows
With a love so radiant it just glows.
Knowing this,I chose to give that love to you
One day my heart would be torn in two.
Inspite of this I still go on ahead
Living moments though my heart bled.
The waves call out and beckon to me
As I seek peace and solace in the sea.
I spot a falling star , far in the sky
Shimmering before it could just die
I should make a wish so I shut my eye
I cant seem to ask for me I dont know why
So instead I wished happiness for you
That you be blessed with a love thats true.
I watched the waves as they soothed my mind
To me they seemed just like my kind
They approach the shore only to retreat
Neither here nor there like me, dead beat.
I strolled slowly walking down the beach
Thinking of you so far out of my reach.

The butterfly fluttering past my face
The wings waving in all its grace
The beautiful hues an array of colors
To match the wonders of the flowers.
Looking around me I sense a peace
As the breeze rustles through the leaves
My thoughts free and soaring high
As I breath fresh air in, with a sigh.
My past sadness I have managed to let go
No longer bothering me or making me low
A fresh lease of life , I searched and sought
After all these years, at this moment I got
Every step of the way nature calmed me
There was so much beauty for one to see
The rugged mountains, the winding streams
Lush green trees ,the morning sun beams.
As I looked around the peace prevailed
Though nothing ever smoothly sailed
So did my mind settle down to a calm
Moving me away from depressions harm .
No matter what life must move on ahead
Why not fill it with happy moments instead
Spread laughter & joyfulness all around
Make it a life worthwhile ,smiles abound !!

I stand mesmerized by the beauty around
The rain, clean air, the pitter patter sound
Romance surrounds as the mist covers The clean fresh smell of mud still hovers.
We walk hand in hand enjoying the rain
Drops on our face washing away the pain.
The air around breathes life in me anew
My problems seeming so far & very few.
As it begins to rain faster we begin to run
It seems years since we had such fun.
I revel as this wakens the child in me
As I splash through the puddles I see.
Singing to the Beat of the rain on my face
I start to do a dance with every little grace .
For the rain brings in me a sense of happiness
I forget all my weariness & my sadness

The whispering trees, the falling leaves,
The setting sun, the tender breeze,
The rain on my face, the sea at my feet,
The chirping birds, the snow a white sheet.
Nature weaves her magic all around me,
Creating a sense of wonder, there’s so much more to see
I grew up an adult to commit a crime,
Forgot to smell the roses ,with the passage of time
Each moment, oh no!! demands so much of me,
A career, my family ,my life…I became a busy bee.
Realization struck one day, time waits for none,
Decided to once again revel in the glow of the sun,
Soaking in the pleasure & beauty of nature galore,
Enjoying every breath & seeking more.
Time is very precious & so the wise say,
For you never know if you are here another day.
