Seeking Peace
‘A rain drop like tear falls unnoticed
It speaks of a story completely untold
The eyes having a look so so ravaged
Speaking of a hurt deep beyond ones hold.
Sleep as it evades and runs from me
Speak of a turmoil so well within
My sad eyes a story for all to see
Draining them of their lustrous sheen.
Will these eyes ever smile again?
Now they seem to shed tears of blood
Getting over all this unbearable pain?
Destroying me as they roll and flood.
Would solitude help me and calm me
The Quiet peace that seems to elude
A calmness I seek would set me free
A sun that peeps from under the cloud.
